Check with your Department to see if partial credit for a course is sufficient to meet the departmental program requirements. If they agree, ask them to e-mail a waiver to the Advising Centre. If you must take the full 3.0 units, you will lose the partial transfer credit once the full course at UVic has been completed. Another possible option is to return to the college/university where the transfer credit originated to complete the second half of the course. E-mail the Advising Centre or make a same-day appointment to discuss whether this is possible for your situation. If this is an option for you, please see “Request to Take Courses Elsewhere”.
