I received an email from a DU administrator (postmaster, system administrator, support, maildaemon, or something similar) with a suspicious attachment. What should I do?
Legitimate DU messages always include a valid signature with appropriate phone number. If you have received a message without one, try to authenticate the message by calling the sender before opening the attachment. Even if the email appears to be from someone you know or from a seemingly legitimate source, double check! Prohibited attachments include those with the following endings: .cmd, .com, .exe, .pif, .bat, .
