I received a share from someone granting me Manager access. If I delete a message in that shared folder, will it also be deleted in the original folder in the owner’s account?

Yes, the message will be deleted from the folder in both accounts. A share is essentially a link between the folder in the owner’s account and the share recipient’s account. We do not recommend sharing nested folders, as this poses a risk of the share recipient deleting a sub folder by mistake.
