I received a message from Bright House Networks about Internet abuse. What is Internet abuse?
Bright House Networks received a complaint about unwanted activity that was tracked to your computer through the IP address assigned to your cable modem. READ the message, and follow the instructions. Depending on the abuse issue, there may be a virus or trojan on your personal computer. Scan your computer with antivirus software. DO NOT disregard the message. If you do nothing about the message, your account can be disabled until the problem is fixed.
