I received a letter/phone call asking me to make a donation. Where does Hillel get its funding and how would my contribution make a difference?
A majority of UF Hillel’s funding comes from private foundations and donors. A portion of our budget comes from the Jewish Federations in Florida, however, more than three quarters of our budget, has to be raised annually from parents, alumni and other friends of UF Hillel. We simply could not sustain this extraordinary range of programs and services without the annual campaign. Your contribution is a critical part of what makes Jewish life on campus in Gainesville possible.
