I received a letter or phone call asking me to make a donation to GW Hillel. Where does Hillel get its funding and how would my contribution make a difference?
Hillel’s budget is a combination of support from private foundations, grants, individual contributions, the parent campaign and alumni contributions. More than 80% of the budget is raised from parents, alumni, and friends of GW Hillel, with approximately 20% from the Jewish Federation of Washington DC and the Hillel’s Schusterman International Center. Without the annual campaign, we simply could not provide the same depth of programming and services that our students enjoy. Your contribution is an important part of what makes our work in the GW Jewish community possible.
