The trainings in the workshop brochure will count if they meet the participant’s annual participation requirements, and if required, approved on the participants Professional Development Plan. All CARES professional development training/activities must be focused on working with children birth to five (except for AB212 participants). Participants must meet with an official CARES Advisor and complete a plan before counting these activities. It is the responsibility of the participant to choose workshops that meet the First 5 Training Standards. Certificates as described above are required.
