I receive the prompt, but it does not take my netid and password. Whats wrong?
• Do you have a UIC account and password? The email accounts are of the form jsmith7@uic.edu. In the example, jsmith7 is the netid and also the login name for the Icarus UNIX machine where most students have their email accounts.. If you do not have an account, please visit the Accounts – Get an Account Web page to create one • If you have an account, make sure that the password is correct by logging in to Icarus. If you don’t know what your password is or the password has expired, you will not be able to login into Res-Net. • If your password has expired, when you login to Icarus you will be prompted to change it. Once you do that you should be able to use your Res-Net connection. • If it turns out that the problem is that you just don’t remember your password, visit the Client Services Office in 2267 SEL, Mon-Fri 9am-5 (4pm on Wed) to have your password reset.
