I receive an error about changing security settings when viewing remote content from a local web page. Why?
In Flash Player versions 8 and later the Player protects users from the possibility of unauthorized disk access by blocking access to remote content from a Player instance in a web page launched locally (off the local hard disk rather than off a remote web server). The error presented permits the authorization of access via a Settings panel. This authorization is per SWF instance locally and per remote web domain.
