A. As stated in the product release notes, the Cisco VPN 5000 Client is supported up to version 10.1.x and thus is not supported on version 10.3. It is possible to make the VPN Client work when you reset the permissions on two of the installed files after you run the install script. This is an example. Note: This configuration is not supported by Cisco. sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/VPN5000.kext sudo chmod -R go-w /System/Library/Extensions/VPN5000.
