The iWork ‘08 interface is different from the AppleWorks interface, but new users should need little time to adjust to it and it is a quick learn. iWork ‘08 uses common interface elements such as the toolbar for main tasks and the contextual format bar to quickly format text, tables, charts, or images. It introduces the Inspector, a well-organized, context-sensitive palette to access multiple settings for layout elements, text, graphics, tables, charts, and links.
