We welcome applicants from any major course of study at UCR. It is to the applicant’s advantage to demonstrate a strong aptitude for science by achieving high marks in the above-stated prerequisite courses and in other subject areas related to medicine. Nevertheless, applications from students who major in humanities or social sciences will be reviewed just as seriously as those from science majors.
