I ran a RAPS Report for a future period and received no data. Why?

In RAPS, if you run a report for a future period you get no data. In AISystem you get the latest current open period data. For example, if today the open period is March FY 2009, and you run a report in AISystem for May FY2009, you will get March’s data – in RAPS you get nothing since technically the period does not exist yet.
