I qualified for Oklahomas Promise while in high school but I was admitted to OSU under the Alternative Admission standards. May I receive Oklahomas Promise payments?
No, not for your first semester at OSU. If you are permitted to enroll at OSU for a second semester, your eligibility to receive Oklahoma’s Promise payments begins with that second semester of enrollment. However, that first semester, during which you did not receive Oklahoma’s Promise payment, does count against your five years of Oklahoma’s Promise eligibility and is lost permanently.
