I purchased some 16MB EDO modules, double sided, with 16 chips per module and they don work in my system, what is the problem?

The 16Mb modules that use the 16 chip DRAM configuration are composite modules and some PC systems do not support these double sided SIMM modules. Ask for them to be replaced with non composite modules and this will solve the problem.
