I posted a question already, but can find it now. How do I know when a counsellor has responded to my question?
Your post won’t appear immediately. A Kids Help Phone counsellor will review and answer your question within three to six days. The counsellor will then post your question and their response to the site so that you (and other people) can read it. You might notice that posts sometimes appear out of order as some replies are double-checked to ensure a high quality of answer. This changes their posting order. We do our best to get every post answered as soon as we can. To find your question and its response you must remember which topic you posted it under. You can also use our search tool and type in your username or subject heading to find the response. Kids Help Phone will edit your message if there is swearing or language that our counsellors feel is inappropriate for the site. In rare cases, we may not even post your message if it is very offensive to other kids.
