Check to see if power is available to the adapter. If available, the LED light located on the inverter will illuminate green. If the LED illuminates red, the one of the safety features has been activated and you much check the wattage you are either pulling from, or, putting into the inverter. If the LED does not illuminate, check all connections. Note; the vehicle may need to be running in order to get power. If you continue to not see the indicator light working, you may need to check the vehicles cigarette lighter fuse and/or the in-car cigarette adapter fuse. Refer to your vehicle manual for further assistance on how to properly check a car fuse. To remove the fuse from the in-car cigarette adapter, unscrew the metallic tip of the inverter and remove the fuse. Replace the fuse with one of the exact same specifications.
