I plan to take a course at another school and transfer it to Penn State in order to graduate. What is the deadline for transferring the credits?
The deadline for the transfer of credits to Penn State for graduation is noon on the Thursday prior to the commencement ceremony. Penn State will only accept an official transcript or a copy of an official transcript faxed directly from the school. Unofficial transcripts, grade reports, letters from instructors/staff, or phone calls in lieu of the official transcript are not accepted. Please check with the school at which you plan to register before registering in order to make sure they can provide us with a transcript in time for commencement. If a transcript is not received by the deadline, you will not graduate.
