I plan to make a stable from fibreglass for my church at to show a Nativity scene. Can you tell me how to do it?
A. There are several techniques available to you. I cannot possibly guide you through them over email as its too much information. I would suggest, especially as you are a newbie to fibreglass, is to buy either the Glassfibre Handbook or The Fibreglass Manual these are very comprehensive books, which are well illustrated. GRP isn’t a difficult skill but it is important that you follow the correct procedures. Both these books are available through our online catalogue or by calling our sales number 01209 821028. I would imagine for this project that you would mock up a wire and plaster/paper mache frame and cover with fiberglass.
