I placed out of my university English requirement with my undergraduate university. Do I still need to take college level English to fulfill NYUCDs admission requirements?
Yes, placing out of a basic level course because of testing does not fulfill NYUCD’s course requirements. A candidate must complete more advanced coursework, even if exempt by their school of a basic requirement, such as English Composition. We also strongly advise students who have attended foreign educational institutions and met requirements through courses taken there to take at least one course in each required subject at the U.S. institution they are attending.
