The particular function of the phone is caused by the software installed by the manufacturer and not by N-Com system. After the phone has been paired up with the helmet with the Headset profile, the earpiece symbol will not be shown on the phone display. When a call is received, the phone activates the connection with N-Com automatically. At the end of the call the phone takes approx. 10 seconds to disconnect from Bluetooth. After this time the N-Com system reconnects automatically to the passenger. When making a call, it is first necessary to connect the phone by pressing “on” briefly. At the end of the call the connection between the phone and N-Com remains active and it is not possible to pass automatically into intercom mode. The only way to disconnect from Bluetooth and activate the intercom is to switch the Bluetooth e-box on and off again.
