I own a business in the Village, what are the blue cards that I occasionally receive?

During the overnight hours, officers of the Baldwinsville Police Department regularly check Village businesses to make sure that they are secure. When the officers do this they leave behind a blue card indicating which officer checked the business, along with the date and time.
