PC133 and PC100 modules are made with the same DRAM chips. While the chips themselves may be marked PC133 that simply means that they are of high enough quality to be used in PC133 modules. The difference between PC100 and PC133 is in the programming of the SPD (serial presence detect) chip that is found on each chip. The label on the module, if there is one, not the markings on the chips, is the indicator of what speed these modules were programmed to. If you are having problems with these modules it is probably not related to the PC133/PC100 issue, especially since PC100 and PC133 modules are backwards compatible for all PCs and most Macs. Please request an RMA since there is some other defect.
