How to import the Player Information diskette into your ACBLscore data base: 1. Insert the diskette into your computer’s diskette drive. 2. From the main ACBLscore menu select “Data Base”, then”Import/Merge”. 3. Select “1 Import from ACBL Player Information File”. 4. Enter the letter of your diskette drive (A: or B:) when prompted for “Enter Location of ACBL File”. 5. The file name found on your diskette will be displayed. Press Enter. Press Enter again for the prompt “Confirm Import from”. 6. Answer Y or N (as appropriate) to “Restrict import by ZIP/Postal code”. 7. Select the appropriate action from the pick list “Select Action on Data Base in \ACBLSCOR\DBASE\”. The usual selection is “1 Update players … etc”. 8. Select fields to update in the target data base (on your hard drive) when a player in the source file (on your floppy diskette) matches (by ACBL number) a player in the target data base.
