Many companies and academic organisations offer proof reading as part of more extensive courses. The NCTJ’s supplier – Pulford Editorial – offers a specific short-course in proof reading. Another short course, biased towards the book sector, is offerd by the Publishing Training Centre at Book House (tel:020 8874 2718).
