I noticed you started a Guest Comic section on September 29, 2004. Is there a way for me to make my own Hachimippan In-Chan guest comics?
Yes. Simply download this file (about 2 megs) for a whole load of sprites and background scenery. To create the comic, place the sceneries over the panels in 4koma.bmp, place the sprites over the backgrounds, and finally, type the text over the picture using your image editing software of choice (I prefer MSPaint for its utter simplicity). If you have RPG Maker 2000, you can create your own backgrounds as well. Of course, try not to type over the sprites, but that should go without saying. There is only one criterion for submitting a guest comic (which you can do over IRC, AIM, or e-mail if you don’t know my AIM name or IRC hangout): it MUST have something to do with the Hachimippan characters. It doesn’t have to be about Jess (it could revolve around the parents or Lucas or even a side character like Megan or Remy), as long as it involves the general story of the comic in some way or other.
