I noticed that the Vibe models come with different types of cables. Could I get a detailed description of the cable for each model?
The Flashblack Chrome and Red Roxx colors are fitted with a cable that is more flexible with a more traditional casing without a tactile touch. The emphasis on this cable was the optical illusion of a clear outside with metal braided inside instead of tactile/thickness. The additional flexibility also benefits from slightly less microphonics. The Gunmetal Black and La Mocha colors are fitted with a cable that is slightly thicker and less flexible with a tactile “silky” touch. The resulting appearance is a flat, silky black. This cable feels more “solid” and more traditional audiophile-like as the cables sensation is thicker (although the two types of cable are about the same diameter in reality). The slight rigidity of this cable can cause slightly more microphonics. Please note: we do try to minimize microphonics inside the headphone itself regardless of cable. Users accustomed to thicker cables may prefer the black as it feels more “solid”, so we felt it was a good compromise of ligh
