I noticed that I am being asked to provide additional documentation such as copies of federal tax returns and W2s. Does this mean my financial aid award could change?
While you will need your previous year’s tax information in order to complete a FAFSA, you do not need to submit copies of your tax returns to the Office of Student Financial Aid unless asked to do so. If the Office of Student Financial Aid needs copies of your tax returns, W2s or other income documentation in order to process your financial aid, we will notify you by e-mail.
