Parabens are absolutely safe when used within the approved concentrations (which, of course, we do). After receiving queries from consumers, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) launched a detailed study in 2006 and concluded: “FDA believes that at the present time there is no reason for consumers to be concerned about the use of cosmetics containing parabens.” (see www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/cos-para.html for full FDA statement.)
