Washing up liquid is designed to remove grease from dishes. shampoo is designed to remove grease from hair. Rub some onto the pillowcases before each wash and this should sort out the problem. Vanish and the stain solvents mentioned will also work but I always prefer to start with milder products because they are kinder to the skin and to the environment.

Have you tried bleach? I know it is very diffiult to remove oil stains. You could also try nixing some bacon soda and water into a paste and try that. My other suggestion is to change pillowcase every few days.

Once you get the oil stains out, I would start degreasing his head…in other words make him wash it. I can’t help but wonder what the rest of him may be like, but really do not want to know! Charles “That Cheeky Lad” Happy Christmas to all who celebrate, and peace and joy to everyone!

A product called De-Solv-It never fails on greasy stains for washable articles.

Can you boil wash the pillowcases? I know not all washing machines do a boil nowadays, but it’s a good way of getting rid of all sorts of stains, and it really disinfects laundry too.
