The first answer (above mine) alludes to the correct answer. You will need to have a survey done to determine if the wiring is aluminum or not. I am unsure why they would need this. Is aluminum wiring against code where you live, because some places still use it, although it isn’t preferred.

Camlawnman is correct regardless of the thumbs down. Not only is aluminum wire “not preferred”, it is illegal to install. Well, illegal to the NEC. Existing aluminum wire however is allowed (grandfather clause). The aluminum wire survey must be conducted by a qualified electrician (likely one they will provide or approve) so that one couldn’t have their electrician friend come up and say “yup, all copper” even if there was aluminum in the building.
