I need to book traintickets for Guilin to Beijing.?
Question: I will only be in Guilin 2 days before I must depart for Beijing, and these tickets need to be book at least a week in advance. And I cant find any information about this on the internet. I also want to know if I can pay for the tickets when I pick them up because I dont have a credit card. I hope someone can help me or give me some advice because this is quite urgent. Answer: I don’t believe you can get train tickets online in China. As of October 2006, all tickets are still sold via ticket booth by the Chinese Railways. The good news is, you don’t need to worry about getting to Guilin and not be able to get return ticket to Beijing. There almost always have tickets available for any route the day of the departure date unless is holiday seasons (May1, Oct1, and Chinese New Years). I was in Beijing once from Changchun(Northeastern City) and only stayed for 2 days then headed to Xi’an. I was able to get the tickets to Xi’an the day I arrived Beijing which is only 2 days in adv
