Just Google pie crust. There are thousands of them. My sister-in-law gave me the most wonderful recipe for apple pie that is totally different than most. The crust is patted in the pan instead of rolled out and part of it is crumbled over the top (Dutch Apple pie-like). Now the other difference is that the apples are shredded instead of cut into cubes or slices and the spices are stirred in with the shredded apple so every bite has the wonderful spice flavor. It turns out perfect every time and is absolutely wonderful with a nice scoop of ice cream. Here’s her recipe: APPLE PIE 1 1/4 c flour 1/2 tsp salt 2 T sugar 1/2 c butter – cut into cubes 1 T vinegar Put all ingredients except vinegar in a bowl. Mix to crumbly. Stir in vinegar. Set aside 1/2 cup of the mixture for the top and, using the rest, pat into your pie plate at least 1 inch up the sides. Here’s the best one, IMHO: Pate Brisee 2½ cups all purpose flour ½ tsp + dash salt 1½ sticks cold unsalted butter, in bits 4 Tbsp. cold shortening Ice water In large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in butter and shortening until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add 2 Tbsp. Ice water and stir; add more water sparingly as necessary to form dough into a disc. Dust with flour and chill, wrapped in wax paper or plastic wrap, for 1 hour. Makes enough for one double crust pie or 2 single crusts. OR Combine dry ingredients in a food processor fitted w/ steel blade. Add fat, pulsing to cut in, leaving bits of fat the size of small peas. Then drizzle in ice water and pulse 5-8 times, just until dough comes together. Turn out onto surface, dust with flour and chill, wrapped in wax paper or plastic wrap, for 1 hour.
