I would say to go to the French trip, while the other trip would give you various experiences around different counties, you have to not only look at the time spend in each country but the time via travel. I would say do the French immersion trip because it will give you a chance to spend time within the French culture. To be honest, it is possible in ten years when you have a career of your own you will be able to go on a trip with friends throughout Europe, but how many chances will you have to have a homestay in a different country? Though know whatever you choose you will end up having a trip of a lifetime.

I would do the French language learning trip. France is beautiful, the food is great, and the best way to learn a language is to practice it. Plus, you might not have this opportunity again. You can always travel through Europe, back pack with your friends or on your own when you are a bit older. If it were me I would do the French language trip.. Good luck and whatever you decide to do have fun!
