Sometimes, the best word-of-mouth recommendations come from others in our groups that have found a good local doctor or treatment program. Often times, one may find specialists in a certain field by contacting the psychiatry department at local teaching hospitals, of which there are several in the Metro Boston Area, where they are often on the cutting edge of research.
