I/My mechanic was looking at the drivetrain and noticed that there are nuts missing from the bolts on the driveshaft going into the Haldex unit at the rear. Should I have them fix this?

A. No. It’s not broken, it’s not missing anything. Don’t touch it. Those nuts and washers are there to balance the driveshaft and are not used to hold it together. If you add additional nuts and washers you’ll throw the driveshaft out of balance. The dealers were given a TSB on this subject so hopefully they won’t try to fix it.
