I/My child used to study Taekwondo but not recently or at a different school. Does he/she have to start at white belt again, or can they come in at their old belt level?

When a student is new to the WTA, they come in as a white belt. However, if your child has studied Taekwondo in the past, be sure to tell Master Barrett about it. Master Barrett will evaluate each student individually over a period of time, to see how well they remember their Taekwondo techniques. It will then be determined what belt level the student should be. It may however be required that a student remain at their current belt level until he/she has learned the WTA curriculum necessary for that rank.
