I moved to Wyoming last June. Can I apply for a resident antelope license since I will be a resident by the time the season starts?
A. No. You may not apply in the resident antelope application period which is the month of May since you will not be resident until June. Wyoming law requires that you must already be a resident before making application for a resident license. You can, however, purchase a resident general elk and deer license after you have become a resident. You will also be eligible to participate in supplemental drawings this summer for leftover limited quota elk and deer. If any antelope licenses are remaining you will also be eligible to purchase one of these after you become a resident.
