I moved to Jefferson County after the voter registration deadline has passed, what are my voting options? Can I legally vote?
Yes, a voter who has moved after the deadline may cast a ballot. However, the voter MUST come to the County Clerk’s Office to do so. The type of ballot the voter will be voting on is only located in the Clerk’s Office. Please do not go to the polls as the Election Judges will contact the Clerk’s Office and ultimately send the voter to the Clerk’s Office in Hillsboro on Election Day. Click here for directions.
