I moved my TReK Receipt Time (TRT) and Spacecraft Time (SCT) record files to a new directory and I can no longer create a SCT playback. What happened?
The TReK SCT record files are actually “shortcuts” that point to TRT record files containing the packets corresponding to the spacecraft time. It is important to move both TRT and SCT files to the same directory if you plan on creating SCT playbacks from the new directory. It is also advisable to use a new directory name that does not contain any typed spaces. For example, instead of using the name “Record Files” for the new directory you should use the name “Record_Files”. When the operating system tries to resolve the SCT shortcut to identify the target TRT file, the operating system includes the directory name in the identification path. However, if the new directory name contains a typed space, the name is hyphenated. The directory’s hyphenated name may confuse the operating system and not allow it to find the SCT’s corresponding TRT record files. If you are experiencing this problem simply rename or create a new directory with a name that does not contain any typed spaces.
