I love my kids, so I care about the world they have to live in. Does the Rachavadee Resort run its operations in an ecologically responsible manner?
Yes, we dearly care about our own and the world’s environment, especially after we barely escaped the faith of becoming one of Thailand’s biggest industrial estates. The plans for building one or two huge coal powered electric plants have fortunately been shelved a few years ago. Most of the Rachavadee’s Eco efforts occur behind the scenes (like the special filtration system in our pool), but one of the most effective and coastly efforts is visible on the back roof of most bungalows: the solor panels that provide all of the hot water for our guests. We also installed an automatic shut down system in all bungalows, which will power down all engery gubbeling monsters like the airconditioning and TV once you leave the room. We also try to use recycled wood and old leaves where possible. Q: Why are there different rates for weekends and weekdays?
