I love fatty fish like salmon and mackerel but am concerned about mercury contamination. Is it necessary to avoid fish now or are there ways around the mercury issue?
High levels of mercury and aluminum can be found not in the small fish such as mackerel but in the big fishes like tuna. Sadly the world is becoming more and more polluted with each day that passes. We have to make the best of what is available to us. So long as you dont eat tuna on a daily basis I would think you do not need to worry too much.
