If you lost a CD-Key for a game, its very easy to get it back. All you have to do is email the support centre and they should send you a new one. They might ask you for a proof of purchase however, or something similar, but when I needed a CD key for The Sims 2, I was never asked for a proof of purchase. Good luck in finding a new one.
