I live outside of SportsNet New Yorks regional viewing area, how can I receive the network?
SportsNet New York is available outside its regional broadcast territory (which includes the states of New York, Connecticut, northeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey) through AT&T U-Verse on channel 704, DIRECTV on channel 625 and through DISH Network on channel 438. DIRECTV customers who live outside SNY’s region must subscribe to the DIRECTV SPORTS Pack, which is available a la carte throughout the United States to all DIRECTV customers. DISH Network customers, who subscribe to America’s Top 60+, DishHD Silver or any higher package, now have access to SNY on channel 438. Cable operators outside of the defined areas in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey are unfortunately not permitted to carry SNY. However, to view New York Mets games outside the regional viewing area, customers must also subscribe to the MLB Extra Innings package available from select cable or satellite providers. This requirement is due to Major League Baseball rules that prohibit local tea
