I live in Victorville, California and Im 16 years old. What is the average price for car insurance in my area and for my age?
We live in North Carolina. I don’t know if the insurance companies are doing this all over, but here, a driver from 16 – 23 years of age pays a lot in insurance, but after 18 years it starts to go down. You want to get on an old car, it helps a little. We have our kids on a 1993 and 2005 model cars, so you can see, we’ve tried to save as much as possible. We started with 125.00 per month with my daughter at 16 years of age. She is now 19 and we are down to $111.00 per month, that’s right PER MONTH. It is more for my son. He is 16 and just got his drivers license. We are paying $135.00 per month for him. It will go down a little when he turns 18. We had an assessment done to see if we could get cheaper insurance through other companies. We were told to stay with who we have. My husband and I pay less together for a year than we pay for our kids for a month. It’s a rip off the insurance companies fixed.
