I live in an area where lightning storms are a frequent occurance. What precautions should I take?
A. There is not a 100% effective course of action to guard against lightning strike. Lightning is very unpredictable and even in areas who would least expect lighning, have suffered from its effects. Preventitive measures you can take would be to ground your antenna and disconnect your antenna from your tuner whenever storms are expected.
