Same thing. Taiji is just another way of writing Tai Chi. The complete name is taijiquan (tai chi chuan), which can be translated as either “Supreme Ultimate Fist” or “Great Ridgepole Boxing”. Either translation is correct and both are relevant to the nature of the system.
