I know someone who wants to bump into my position and I know they cant do my job, what are my options?

Please be assured that HR and management will do their best to make sure that employees are able to perform the job duties of the position within the time frames outlined by the applicable collective bargaining contract. If it is determined that an employee isnt capable of doing the job within a reasonable period of time (30 calendar days for SEIU employees or immediately for AEE employees), then the employee would not be allowed to displace you. We do not want to set employees up for failure. Before we allow someone to bump another employee, we will be fairly confident they can do the job within applicable time frames.
