I know someone homeless and he needs depression medication, where can they go?

I know someone who is homeless who suffers from severe depression and is suicidal, where can he go to get help and get prescriptions and or medication? He doesnt have money or insurance to pay for hospital. A: The hospital. If he is suicidal, the hospital has to have him seen by a psychiatrist. They can’t just turn you away in a case like that. And before he is discharged form the hospital, they can give him ressources for homeless shelters or places where he can go live. And if he needs medication, they will give him some during his stay at the hospital and they would probably give him a prescription also. Hospitals have to see anyone..whether they have insurance or not. If he commits suicide because the hospital didn’t take him in, that’s the hospital’s fault. Someone suicidal is diffrerent than someone who just has a cold. They HAVE to see him. His life is in the balance. Have him worry about paying the hospital stay later.
