You dont need to do anything just yet. OPM is working out the details related to the election opportunities FERCCA offers. As soon as it can, OPM will send out guidance. Your agency will then contact you and tell you what you need to do next. You can monitor OPMs Error Correction Web Site at www.opm.gov/benefits/correction, and sign up on the email subscription list to receive updates directly by email. You can access the email subscription list by clicking on the Subscribe to Email List link on the web site. If you are about to retire, let your agency know. We at OPM will work with your agency to get you the information you need before you retire.
